In February 1982, the Regal Grand National debuted, which was named for the NASCAR Winston Cup Grand National Series(the "Grand National" term was part of the Cup series nomenclature until 1986).Buick had won the Manufacturers Cup in 1981 and 1982, and wanted to capitalize on its success: "What wins on Sunday, sells on Monday". They sold many of the legendary Regal Grand Nationals but the 1987 GN was the best one yet. This was the final year of production for the Grand National and it had the most HP of all GN's with the exception of the GNX.This timeless design still has the love of enthusiast's across the globe! There is a cult following for these cars and this one has all original paint and body with only 33k miles. It has the typical paint flaws that most of the GN had, the hood and most flat surfaces have many small spider cracks all over it. Interior has a very clean look and smells fresh. Carpets and seats show very little wear and was certainly well cared for. The most recent owner had it for about a year and is looking to buy something new. This is a very collectible vehicle that is likely to keep moving up in value in the future. Do not hesitate to call on this one today. It will not last long at this price!
