Overview:

Here is a beautiful 1950 Buick Super 4dr sedan in excellent condition inside and out. Believe it or not this is an all original, survivor that was extremely well preserved its entire life. It has mostly original paint, all original interior, original chrome, trunk, engine, etc. There are only 25k pampered original miles on the beauty. This car recently won the Preservation award at the 10,000 Lakes Concourse D' Elegance in July of 2017. Original cars like this only come available once in a blue moon and are highly sought after. It was sold new in Texas to Ethel Thompson and she passed in 1977. We recently purchased the car from the estate of a collector. The car comes with loads of original paperwork. It is one of the nicest originals we have seen. Also, the car has recently had over $5K worth of work done bring it to tip top shape mechanically. This Buick needs nothing and is ready to drive and enjoy!!

Exterior:

This Buick shows beautifully on the exterior with mostly all original paint. It was ordered in beautiful Niagara Green with a Verde Green roof. The paint shows excellent and the only reason I say mostly original paint is due to, us having a small scratch touched up in the lower rocker. The only flaws in the paint are a few tiny rock chips that have been touched up over the years, a small thin spot on the hood and a small dent in the passenger side door. This car has never been apart and everything fits and lines up excellent. It is completely rust free. All the chrome and trim on the car is in excellent original condition and shows great. There are a couple small scratches in the rear bumper but that is all. For being original, it is amazing. All the original glass is also in excellent shape with no chips or scratches. It is sitting on its original Dante Red wheels with mint original hubcaps and excellent white wall tires.

Interior:

The interior is completely all original and in absolutely mint condition. I do not believe you will find a nicer original interior on any '50 Buick. The seat gray broadcloth seats are mint, nice and soft with no stains. The front rubber mat is mint and the rear, original carpet is excellent with only a couple small stains. They may still come out, we just didn't want to scrub to hard. The door panels are excellent along with the headliner. The dash, gauge cluster and steering wheel are spectacular. All the chrome is amazing and the gauges are crystal clear. Everything in the car works including the radio and wipers. The only thing that does not work are the clock and the courtesy lights which could just be bulbs. All of the original weather stripping is excellent and still pliable. Inside the trunk is all original with its original mat, jack and spare tire that looks like it was never on the ground. It even has an original shop manual that comes with the car and its preservation award.

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives great with no issues. It starts right up and is very quite and doesn't smoke. It is powered by its original Fireball L8 engine and dyna flow automatic transmission. Under the hood completely all original as has never been touched. It still has all its original engine paint, decals and hood pad. It is truly a time capsule. There was over $5K worth of work done to this car recently bringing it to excellent mechanical condition with receipts. The compete brake, fuel and cooling system was gone through. The transmission was also serviced along with a fluid and oil change. This car is ready to cruise!
