1968 Buick Riviera 2 Door Coupe

What a deal!!I am selling my 1968 Buick Riviera pillarless coupe with all of the right options!! Air conditioning, floor shift automatic transmission, bucket seats!! Tilt wheel, power windows, power drivers seat, the right rally style wheels and a 430 Cubic Inch V8 motor!! These are rear wheel drive. The car runs and drives so nice. This was a very limited use vehicle for 10 years stored on a wooden floor barn in dry conditions. I pulled it out of winter storage and drove out of town for dinner. It is very reliable and dependable. I put 300 miles on it in the past month and a half. The motor has a lot of power as it should. It stays cool. It is not puffing smoke or making noises. The transmission shifts great in all of the gears. You can't beat the floor shift automatic. The suspension feels nice. The shocks in the rear are air shocks and height adjust from in the trunk. The dual exhaust is fairly new as you will see in the pictures. The battery holds it's charge and is at full charge. The twin whitewall tires are extremely rare and look so nice on this car!! They are not radial but go down the road very well since there is a lot of tread on all 4. The wheels and center caps are very nice condition. The paint is 10 years old. It was done base coat clear coat so no hazing. Brilliant shine!! The vinyl top is like brand new. The top is not painted black. Soft black vinyl with Lexol protectant as shown. The interior is nice and clean for a 50 year old Riviera and smells so nice. It has that older Buick smell. No smoke, pets, moth balls stink. The mats are new. The carpets are clean. The headliner is spotless. All of the seatbelts are in nice shape. I like the safety of the shoulder belts. The bucket seats feel comfortable. The power seat works nice. Power windows with no pillar in the middle. Passenger window switch is fussy sometimes. The wipers are working. The horn is not. The lights are all working including the Buick emblem lights on the rear quarters. The trunk is clean and dry. I see metal patch but it was done well. The spare compartment is in great shape. The matching spare has a NOS wide white wall tire. The bottom of the car is solid as a rock and clean as you will see in all of the pictures. Here's the to do list: The headlight vacuum pods are both new but the car will need new vacuum hoses to make them move with the switch. They open and close by hand easy now until they are fixed. The air conditioning compressor works most of the time. The air conditioning system has held a charge for years but I think the compressor may be on the way out. The dial system for the climate control moves and the blower comes on as well but there is a plastic clip that is missing from the swivel under the hood so it will not adjust from warm to cold. The passenger front fender has a bump that has no paint damage. The passenger rear quarter on top has an area where the paint reacted to the primer when painted over 10 years ago. The pictures show the car very well and the car is priced accordingly. New York State pre 1973 cars use Transferable Registrations to transfer ownership. It is accepted in other states same as a title. Thank you Mike (585)645-5OO9. For a shipping quote use Ready Auto Transport with your zip code and mine 14445.
