1987 Buick Regal Turbo T
1987 Buick Turbo T. No oil leaks, many new parts. 91191 original miles, engine, transmission, and 8.5 10 bolt rear with 3.42 gears and limited slip. Bucket seat car with factory floor shift and console. Landau top was replaced recently. Rare factory block heater option. Power antenna, power windows.
Has Weld Draglite wheels. A set of factory aluminum turbo Buick wheels will be included in sale. No factory center caps though. I've made many repairs to this car since taking ownership. I will list below the details. Car is not mint or perfect but is a very nice fun driver.
What I have done is as follows.
New front and rear Fel Pro neoprene crank seals. New oil pan, valve cover and, intake gaskets. New oil pump pick up screen.
New RJC bullet proof head gaskets and ARP head studs. Previous owner had the heads serviced and fresh valve springs installed recently.
RJC rocker shaft supports. RJC power plate for stock plenum installed.
New drivers side T/A Performance header and crossover pipe.
New Power Master brake unit from Kirban.
New Cloyes double roller timing chain and gears. Gasket matched heads and intake.
Garrett TA-49 turbo rebuilt by Limit Engineering. New Mickey Thompson Drag radials. New Auto Meter digital boost gauge. New Turbosmart wastegate. New bosch O2 sensor.
Car has a Scanmaster and Turbo Tweak chip with 42 lb/hr injectors and a Walboro 340 fuel pump with hotwire kit.
Transmission and converter are stock and shift firmly. Replaced vacuum lines on most of engine. New turbo clamps and hoses. Factory intercooler.
New radiator hoses. New fuel injector o-rings and fuel line o-rings, and fuel filter. New correct PCV valve and RJC check valve.
New oil cooler lines from Kirban Performance.
Has 3 inch ATR down pipe and Hooker exhaust system with test pipe.
Has Tin Man cold air intake.
New Aluminum driveshaft from Kirban Performance
Aluminum GN1 radiator.
ARP wheel studs and open ended lug nuts. Steel valve stems.
Metco driveshaft loop.
Car has been 12.02@ 112 mph on a medium tune and a 1-2 psi launch.
Here is what I see that still needs attention.
Needs upper control arm bushings in front upper arms. Could use new shocks and springs. Drivers seat has small tear. Two small cracks in upper dash. Needs door weatherstrip.
The car needs fresh paint and very minor body work. It has faded original paint. It looks like the car has been keyed at some point in it's life on both sides. I have pictures showing the scratches. Has some minor dings left rear quarter panel.
Minor rust at bottom of both doors. Right rear bumper filler cracked.
Air conditioning not working. A/C is not butchered. Everything is still there. Cruise control not working.
