61 Buick Lesabre Bubbletop

1961 Buick LeSabre

I am listing for my buddy his 61 Bubbletop. He has owned it some time now and has done a lot to it. Car looks AMAZING from a few feet away but needs work. He is in the market for a 66 or 67 Nova SS and would consider trading this and cash for the right Nova.
The Buick has the big brake set up with Corvette front disc brakes on front. Has Coys 18" on front and 20" on rear. Brand new exhaust that sounds very good. New brake booster. New aluminum radiator. Newer paint. Complete brand new factory correct interior from headliner to carpet and dash to package tray. Has air ride on front and back. All the chrome is in nice shape. Doors open and shut like new. Car runs and drives but needs work to be driven a distance. Rolls, steers and stops. Rebuilt carb.
The bad, it has lower rust. Braces to inner rockers rusted, inner rockers rusted, rear body mounts rusted. Drivers side rear floor pan has a hole in it. The painter did not prep the body right and it has yellowing in the paint in a few places. Also has some bubbling in paint in several areas. Body is straight but several little areas when rust is forming. Needs weatherstripping numerous places around the car. Air ride leaks out. Compressor is bad but have a new one to replace it. Motor needs a tune up and dialed in. Still has factory generator and could be switched to alternator. Have numerous pictures of the car. Any questions or request for a different picture let me know.
