1965 Buick Skylark deluxe

Piease read entire descdription and view pictures prior to bidding. This is not a perfect car and will need some help.I've been searching for a Vista Cruiser and last week saw this Sport Wagon just a few miles from home, I rushed i, price was fare, drove the car and brought it home. It is a little more of a project then I want, so here is the goo, bad, and my thoughts. VIN, it woulde not print it sll, 444555H109362, this is a 6 passenger model. It is equipped with the optional 250HP 300 engine, it has 4 new tires, a complete new BRAKE system, new alternator, new water pump, new plugs and wires, new fuel filter AND a 100% new exhust system, Duals from manifold to rerar bumper complete with FLOW MASTERS, it has a great sound, power steering and brakes and it is a factory aair car. Could you dr4ive it home?? Sure but be safe and bring a trailer. The interior is really bad, mostly there but bad. I think it is still in original paint, the only body repair appears to be on the drivers side just abovde the rear wheel well. T%he body is very straight. The rockers, inner rocker, quareters, door bottoms, nd fenders are all solid .RUST, there is a hole about 1/2 inch in the bottom of the spare tire holder, the drivers side floors, both front and back hve some rust, both could be rerpaired from inside thr car with fibergtlass.All of the tr5im and moldings have minor surface rust. The cAR WILL HAVE TO be stripped of all chrome to receive a quality paint job.The young man from whom I bought the car said hisw dad was the original owner and that is why he just spent about $1,000.00 on qll the work, he used the car for work to home daily, about 30 mile roundtrip.. Think about what the son did, he would not have spent that money if the car was really a dog.
