THANK YOU!All metal is excellent as it was a California car, wood has been sanded but I never got to varnishing, the wood that is needed or should be replaced IS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE FROM J.B. DONALDSON Co. I contacted them and they can provide any wood piece that you choose to replace, I planned to save most of the original wood and sand & varnish, but it needs the drivers door wood and pass side rear window surround, among a few other pieces. And of course depending on whether you want a driver or a show car? The tailgate has the hard to find CURVED rear glass in exc.cond. The flat glass for doors & sides is needed and IS AVAILABLE from ebay dealer from patterns THEY HAVE for about $300 for ALL of it. I never got around to getting it, but I HAVE ALREADY SPENT MANY THOUSANDS ON THIS CLASSIC! You can do well AND MAKE A NICE PROFIT with this car being such a solid low mileage California car, GREAT POTENTIAL for SHOW CAR & MONEY MAKER!The 1950 Buick is the BEST GRILL of the woody's & of all1950's Buicks. LOOK AT THOSE BIG TEETH!I had the them & the bumpers rechromed because it's a highlight of the car. I bought it a few years ago from a dealer in Texas, it still had the California plates still on it; I had GRILL & BUMPERS rechromed while still in Texas; when arrived here I HAD IT SENT directly TO MECHANIC IN LONG ISLAND= I SPENT NEARLY $3000 in parts & labor so that car RUNS WELL & DRIVES! ALL NEW BRAKES, fuel tank, carb, tuneup, lights, AND MUCH MUCH MORE WAS DONE ! The tires are very old and you should put wide whitewalls on it;Dash is nice, interior seats & door panels are excellent and ready to use! Engine compartment complete with giant original aircleaner, NEW CORRECT (expensive) long original type battery, for those that don't know it- these Buicks (like Packard) had the hood that could open from either side! double hinges, thus you could take the whole hood off if you pull both releases from both sides, which is very convenient for under hood detailing! I have all original owners manual, shop manuals, boxes of extra parts, and I believe I have some sales literature as well.Everything included!I must sell my cars quickly due to both health issues and financial needs, so I would appreciate if it can be picked up within a week of sale. As with any 65+year old car IT IS BEING SOLD AS-IS, WHERE IS. You can bid with confidence as I have been an Ebayer for over 20 years with 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK, and a fellow car collector for over 30 years! So I know a good car and know a good investment. The 1950 Buick woody wagon is a very valuable rarity, in #1 condition THE PRICE GUIDE IS $160,000 or thereabouts, average ones I have seen for $50,000 to $80,000 so you have a lot of room to make money on this car, and at my price you can not lose.A VERY GOOD INVESTMENT ! A VERY SOLID RUNNING DRIVING VERY LOW MILEAGE CALIFORNIA WOODY!
