1962 Buick Skylark Convertible-Restored

1962 Buick Skylark Convertible

(Completely restored-just 50 miles on the car since restoration)

I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle.

This is one of those items:

We received this completely restored Buck Skylarkfrom a private collection/museum. To make things easier, everything in the car has been restored and there are quite a bit of receipts and documentation that go with the car.

For example, every bit of the interior, including the convertible top to include all the pumps and mechanisms are new. The material alone was well over $2,000.

All the body work and paint is new with receipts and pictures. ($3,394.58)

All the chrome was re-chromed (Receipts for $3,660) All the chrome has documented and pictures were taken before and after the work was done.

The car is in mint condition and was parked in a dry climate controlled private museum.

Again,, to make it easier, everything on the car has been re-worked or is brand new – from all the mechanical parts to all the cosmetic parts, from bumper to bumper.

All the glass is in perfect shape, all the rubber is brand new, and every part of the interior is brand new.

All the gauges have been calibrated or replaced. All the chrome on the car has been re-chromed. All the tires, brakes system, engine, and transmission has been gone through. All the wiring, hoses, radiator, and battery – all new.

The car was sitting in our friend’s private museum for over 2 years. After it arrived at our place, we added gas to the brand new gas tank, we changed the oil again, and the car started and ran like brand new. I took a video of the car while I drove it. I also have a small video showing the operation of the power top.

The car comes with its original aluminum V-8 engine, and an automatic transmission. The car comes with a clear Texas title. All the receipts and documents will go with the car.

All the inspections must be done before the auction closes.

Remember that this classic sport car is 54 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person.

Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item.

We require a $300 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The car will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee.

We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally.
