1994 BMW 3-Series

This is a well cared for Southern California car that I have owned for a year.In that time I have replaced the RTABS and the rear shock mounts as well as the struts on the front end. It has a solid five speed gearbox and a very tight engine with zero issues, as always run strong.Previous owner replaced the top as well as the top mechanism in 2015, ut I cannot get the top to go down now.I had a slight parking lot mishap a few months back where a lady backed into me in the rear quarter behind the passenger door, see photos)Its barely noticeable, ut the DMV placed the vehicle into Salvage status after her insurance company paid me for the damage. This means the car needs to pass a State of California brake and light inspection from a certified inspection shop.I took the car to my local shop, ut they failed it due to the ABS light on the dashboard fails to illuminate. Also there are minor cracks in one of the turn signals and one of the tail lights which also caused it to fail.I am selling the car as salvage only. I have the title in my name. The plates are expired 11/15A great opportunity for someone from out of state where these strict requirements might not be required, r a good chance for a E36 enthusiast to strip for parts, r perhaps it could be fixed, just cannot afford to invest any money into the car to get it legal, o reserve, igh bid takes the car.
I will assist buyers wishing to export this ca, ut arrangements must be made to transport car to the departure port and all arrangements must be made and paid for by the buyer.
Although this car could easily drive to Tierra Del Fuego with no breakdowns, t is not legal to operate this car on California highways until it passes an official brake and light inspection. Thanks!
