1967 saw the first run of the latter BMW 2002. BMW started off making the 1600-2, and as the world market saw an increased sales potential the car was developed into the 2002. The American Market, led by Max Hoffman, demanded a higher output engine with the performance and handling it was designed for. The 1974 BMW 2002tii, was the first of its model range to receive the Square tail lights, and slight cosmetic changes. This 2002tii is finished in Aamazon Green, with a black Interior. The 2002tii shows 18k miles. The car runs and drives very well. This 2002tii was a one owner car. The Female owner, in the Army Reserve, ordered the car new. The car was a Japanese Delivery, and it was subsequently moved to wherever its owner was stationed. The First owner had a recommissioning of the 2002tii, from the well know KORMAN AUTOWORKS, in Greensboro, NC. Feel free to go to, 2002 tii euro. This was back in Feb - May of 2008. The car then was in Hawaii with its owner, as is visible on the rear bumper sticker, where it received some re chroming, and interior work and left there in February 2011. Maintenance history is available, that details work performed, including a rebuild of the 4 speed transmission, and new pedal box, and new rocker panel sills, etc, etc. The work was in the range of $50k plus over the years, and its all organized in a binder. The car was purchased by its current owner in 2016, and has been stored and maintained. Under present ownership the BMW has had the differential, and transmission oil changed at 16,913 miles. Regular oil changes have been done as well with the last one on 03/26/2020 at 18,531 miles.
