1973 BMW 2002

the car is a true 73 tii with the original number matching engine that has been totally rebuilt using .040" Ross forged pistons. Piano top. new standard bearings. original head totally rebuilt using new guides,springs and valves. kugelfischer pump was also rebuilt it is mostly original malaga red. doesnt appear to have ever been wrecked aside from a small dent where the grey primer is on the rear right. original sunroof works and is in great shape! has very desirable aluminum air deflector. 4 speed transmission is in great working shape. car is basically 100% complete
interior is in decent shape, will need a headliner. wiring and electrics are in great shapedoors open and close smoothly.all windows work well, i lubed all the moving parts.original keys. ignition works wellall trim is present minus the piece on the rear edge of trunk lid obiviously needs paint.
original wheels have been sandblasted and powder coated silver. with hubcaps and beauty rings.tan molded carpet ki, in pretty good shape.original tii fuel tank is still there but does have bad gas in it. comes with clean usable standard fuel tank ready to be converted to e30 fuel pump! or restore the tii tankradiator is in great shapedriveline is in great shapethe grills are basically perfect, i removed them to clean out and detail the radiator support areas.new startergood usuable clutchnew radiator fan rolls and steers. pedal box moves freely and isnt rusted. bushings feel good New poly motor mounts from Ireland Engine is about to go in. Trans has been resealed, ready to install. i do not have a title. bill of sale only

The BMW 2002 tii US VIN 2763410 was manufactured on February 06th, 1973 and delivered on February 08th, 1973 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Malaga, paint code 021.
