You are bidding on a 1988 BMW 325is. This is the model before the M3. It has a 2.5L engine with a 5 speed manual gearbox. The car recently had all of the maintenance done. Such as, iming belt, ater pump, ew wires, ew spark plugs, ew distributor, oolant flush, ew oil, earbox oil replaced, ntake manifold gaskets, ew exhaust manifold gaskets, ifferential oil replaced, nd new head gasket replaced. All original BMW parts used.
Exterior ConditionThe color is a nice red and is in good shape. There are some exterior flaws. Some surface rust bubbles on the lower part of the doors from rock chips. No rust unseen. No rust underneath the car. Structurally, he car is solid. There was some rust on the back of the trunk which I cleaned up. It's primed and ready to be painted. I did not have the matching color, o at this point I sealed it for the winter and plasti dipped it for the winter. I was planning on painting in the spring. Currently on the car are almost brand new Michelin winter tires. I was planning on driving the car in winter in between driving my Subaru, owever things took an unexpected turn and therefore, am selling the car.
Mechanical ConditionFires up on first touch. The engine runs very smooth and quiet. Shifts smoothly between gears. You can cruise 75-80 mph on the highway smoothly. Feels tight. It has an 1" lower suspension.
