Enthusiast Owned - BMW CCA Member since 1992
I am the second owner of this BMW 635csi and am helping my friend and neighbor, the third owner, sell this car.
I purchased the car from Motoring Investments in downtown San Diego in February of 1995.The dealership is now gone, replaced by an apartment building. Back then, the ownersourced unique examples of German engineering. I worked just up the street andwould stop by twice a week at lunch to see what new cars the dealership had acquired.Needless to say I took one look at this car and had to have it. I traded in a 1987 blueautomatic 635csi for this 5 speed Black Beauty! After 12 years of ownership I upgradedto a 2006 645ci. My friend had been after me to sell him the car for several years so itwas an easy transaction to make. After 10 years of ownership, he's ready to part with the car, which is the reason for the sale.
The car was originally purchased at Crevier BMW in Santa Ana, California in May of 1989(see photo of service booklet). The car was maintained by the dealership as is evidenced bythe stamps in the service booklet. I performed all the maintenance myself during the time we'veowned the car.
The car has always been garaged. It has not had any bodywork done to it except for having thefront spoiler repainted.
The car boasts all its original VIN tags (see photos).
California registration valid until June of 2018.
If the car is sold to a California resident a smog test will be performed as required by the DMV.
