Hi everyone, up for sale is my baby- my E32, 1994 BMW 740iL . The car was originally purchased by a wealthy Hollywood producer in November 1993 for $62,000 ($105,000 in 2017, adjusted for inflation) and I bought it from his son two years ago. This man kept records of nearly every service record, I have a thick binder full of his records that total tens of thousands of dollars. I even the original sale’s receipt and window sticker as well! He took great care of his car, always garage-kept, always serviced on time and at the BMW dealership. I have continued to maintain the car using only BMW OEM parts.
This is a clean title, accident-free, California rust-free car in amazing condition. Car has a beautiful black paint exterior with a beige leather interior in immaculate shape. The body does have some light scratches on the rear bumper and along the edges, and the right fog light has a rock chip in it, and the gas cap has a small plastic part that is off the hinge- but overall is in remarkable condition for the age.
1994 was the last year of the E32 7-series, so you’re getting the most refined and advanced this series had to offer. These cars were the some of the most reliable cars BMW ever built. Only 123k miles on the car, so it has a long life ahead! The M60B40 motor runs perfectly, with plenty of power and smooth delivery. Block was changed from nikasil to alusil under warranty by the original owner.
All electronics in the car work; with the exception of the radio not being able to eject a cassette from it (you need to pry it out manually). You will not find a cleaner and better condition E32 anywhere- these cars are getting to become very rare, I only see one or two go up for sale every couple months, and usually not in that great of shape. this car will serve you a lifetime as long as you continue to properly maintain it as well as I have! I’ve always garaged this car, used 91 octane premium fuel, only used Mobil 1 Synthetic Motor Oil during oil changes and I’ve just babied this car always.
I have taken care of pretty much everything that was recommended to change; this car is ready to go to a loving new owner, only selling because I am moving out of the country soon. I’m a BMW enthusiast, and have spared no expense on maintaining this machine.
