In an effort to keep the description short enough to read I missed a few items I should have mentioned above: Note that the bumper shocks have been shortened to improve the overall balanced look. Also although this car looks like new it is 40 years old. As such there are going to be things that do not work like new. I did not mention any of those above so want to cover them here: All the gauges work but the speedometer registers higher than actual (shows you going faster than you are going). I am not sure why? And the miles occasionally get stuck and do not advance. I am still tinkering with that to try and figure out why. It may be that the speedo head needs rebuilt to be accurate? Also the turn signals and all exterior lights work great but you have to hand-cancel the turn signal lever after turning. The motor runs smoothly has great power etc. but is not freshly rebuilt. It puffs a bit of blue smoke the first time you start it but runs clean after. It is a little cold-blooded for the first few blocks but then is dialed in nicely. It does not smoke when driving accelerating or decelerating... The motor tested well for compression at 140-150 on all cylinders and does not leak or drip oil. I have driven it in traffic and in hot weather and it does not overheat but stays in the right mid-range on the temp gauge. And finally the dome light inside is not working nor have I wired the driving lights. They are kinda just for looks but could be wired with minimal effort. Oh and the car comes with a Haynes manual but is missing an original jack. It does have all the fiberboard covers that go under the dash to cover all the wiring too. That's about it! I will post some more pictures below and thanks for your bids! If you would like to talk to me about the car in person text or call me at 503-689-6070. And Happy Fathers Day! -Doug http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w664/middlesd/BMW%202002/IMG_2623_zps1rogsm5d.jpg http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w664/middlesd/BMW%202002/IMG_2629_zpsu6xrmsma.jpg http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w664/middlesd/BMW%202002/IMG_2644_zpsgwgwedel.jpg http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w664/middlesd/BMW%202002/IMG_1198_zpsunetojkv.jpg http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w664/middlesd/BMW%202002/IMG_1210_zpsm01lbct5.jpg http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w664/middlesd/BMW%202002/IMG_1334_zps7auzfy6r.jpg

Sorry about the html script above... Reminder: Some pics show the aluminum wheels and tires instead of Steelies. I have both. Take your pic. Pictures from under the car were taken before I replaced all the tie rods. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Remember: Your choice of wheels & tires: retro Libre's or Stock Steelies. Also the dash does have several small age cracks but as you can see it shows nicely. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'll try to post a video of motor running before the weekend.
