The BMW 2002 is known by automotive enthusiast as BMW's entry to the mid size, sports sedan market. The BMW 2002 is widely considered the grandfather to the legendary BMW 3 series line. The '02 is desired among car collectors because of its luxury meets sports car feel and its rich racing pedigree. The BMW had a successful racing history due to its light-weight design, agile independent front and rear wishbone suspension, excellent brakes and lastly, a torque filled, reliable and efficient M10 engine. Car and Driver said, "in its ability to blend fun-and-games with no-nonsense virtue, the 2002 BMW reflects traditional, unshakable faith." This particular 2002 is my baby. If I was not in the unfortunate financial position I am in, I would surely keep her for many more years. This is a 1976 in overall top driver condition She has always been religiously maintained in a meticulous manor. I am the third owner of this car and I know the history, back to the original owner. This car was originallysold in California and has never left all its life. She has never been in any accidents or collisions. This is an extremely rare and desirable model due to its Sunroof option, manual transmission and best color choice, Jade green. The M10, 4 cyl engine has been gone through and never lets me down. Always starts every time, idles smooth and delivers power. The black, real leather seats, are in excellent condition. This car has an authentic Nardi steering wheel with real wood.The clutch and transmission feel exactly as they should. The Nardi wheel, the gear shift and the torquey engine is just a joy to drive on a Sunday morning. The paint is not barrett-jackson level, but with only a few blemishes, it would be at home at any cars and coffee, or local car show. Over the years the car has had a few minor upgrades to ensure it is the best 2002 available. Front fog lights have been installed, the rear bumper has had the shock absorbers removed in the impact bumper for a more elegant look. The stereo has been upgraded with a new head unitand speakers. The BMW is being sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Clean title in hand, with mileage exempt due to age, shes all ready to transfer for a new owner to drive and enjoy. New tires have just been installed. Along with the sale I will include multiple boxes of spare parts, including bumpers, and other miscellaneousitems.
