1976 BMW 5-Series E12I WAS TOLD BY THE SELLER THAT HIS SON WORKED ON THE CAR FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS IN HIS BODY SHOP BEFORE PASSING AWAY IN 2014. IT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN DISASSEMBLED AND PAINTED THE UNDERSIDE IS BLACK AS SEEN IN THE WHEEL WELL PHOTOS. I THINK THERE IS SOME EXTRA PARTS AS THE SHOP DID VARIOUS DETAIL JOBS ON OTHER CARS, I HAVE AN EXTRA ENGINE LISTING IN ANOTHER AUCTION.THE PAINT IS VERY SMOOTH AND LOOKS TO BE HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL HOWEVER THERE ARE A FEW SMALL CHIPS NEEDING REPAIR (SEE PICTURES)PARTS I KNOW ARE MISSING IS A HEADREST FOR THE BACK SEAT AND THE BOTTOM BENCH SEAT ALSO THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WAS CRACKED AND THE FUEL TANK IS MISSINGPLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE WHAT I CAN.
