1960 Austin Healey Sprite Mark 1, chassis number AN5-L/16360. Vehicle comes with all receipts. I purchased vehicle in 2004 and vehicle went through a complete restoration at that time. Always garaged. Upgraded to a 1275cc (low mileage) engine, and other than a CD/radio which was installed in a factory radio cut-out ( no hack dash cutting), everything else is completely stock to preserve originality.
Vehicle paint finish is Colorado red (a big Healey color) and is beautiful as the 100+ trophies we have won will attest to.
New convertible top, brakes (drum), electrical harness, carpet and seat cover set, door pockets, grill, front and rear light lenses, and rebuilt instruments (speedo, tach and gas gauge), dual gauge oil/water is new. Rear end, transmission (ribbed) are problem-free (no noise in read or trans). Comes with original steering wheel (in great condition) as well as a custom wheel.
Gas gauge (rebuilt by Nisonger Instrument Co.) not working; believe it's the sending unit in tank (sending unit replaced in 2004). Emergency brake needs adjusting.
Car was driven 3 times in 2 years. Last time out car was hard to start; I believe because of lack of use. Those 3 rides were to car shows where we took 1st place in our category at all 3 shows including the 2018 Brit-Fest, our last show.
