1974 Austin Healey Jensen Healey Conv

Up for auction is a 1974 Jensen Healey. This is a running car but it is a project.I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is you chance to get a Jensen Healey way the heck below the current market value. Make no mistakes this car is selling this week to the highest bidder regardless of sale price. So if your bidding your bidding to buy the car.
I bought the car locally here in North Carolina from a gentleman that owned her since 1977. I have the 1977 NC State issued title in hand. I was going to restore her but other projects and life are getting in the way so I'm selling her on to the next person. Have a box fully of manuals and many other forms of literaturethat go with the car. The engine and transmission are worth several thousand dollars each but I don't want to part her out as I think she is worth the effort to restore.
As you'll see in the photos there is rust issues in the front floor boards so I'd planning on replacing/ repairing both sides.
Mechanical s: Car starts right up with no issues or smoke. Just changed the plugs, oil changed, new oil filter and new battery installed. Also, not long ago a new set of radial tires where installed. The car was driving about 3 weeks ago but now it won't go in gear when she is running. Might be the clutch slave cylinder or clutch cable. So with that being said she will need to be towed home.

Gauges:All gauges are correct / original and are working with the exception of the gas gauge. Oh, yes the original clocks does work. Exterior:As you can see she is pretty straight but in need of restoration.Interior: Its all there but does need restoration.Soft / Hard Tops:I have the soft top frame but it will need a new soft top. The hard top is in pretty good shape but the rear glass needs to be installed ( it's in the trunk with the window gasket ).

Remember this is a project car and being sold as is where is.I'm not an expert and my opinion ofthe car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or the extra photosI have availableplease ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the carI'm selling her"as is" and mileageexempt.A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.
