1964 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 --

Crevier Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1964 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 - Fully restored my marque experts British Motor Corporation - Complete with factory-installed electric overdrive Donald Healey's four-cylinder Healey Hundred was a sensation at the 1952 London Motor Show, impressing Austin's Leonard Lord, who promptly put it into production as the Austin-Healey. Successively upgraded, it received six-cylinder power in 1956, but it was the three-liter 3000 Mark III of 1964-1968 that became the archetypal “Big Healey.” Completed on March 18th 1964 and dispatched from the works eight days later, this 3000 Mark III convertible was built to left-hand drive North American specification. Options included the adjustable steering column, black tonneau cover, a heater, electric overdrive, road speed tires, laminated windscreen and a miles per hour speedometer. A former owner had it restored in a ground up restoration by British Motor Corporation of Pennsylvania. The mileage shows 7799, which are miles since the restoration. The car is immaculate, inside and out. It is as clean underneath as on top, and the engine compartment is sanitary and well detailed. The beautiful british racing green paint highlights a very straight body and is nicely set off with chrome wire wheels. It is offered with a Heritage Certificate verifying that it is numbers matching. The car comes with all tools, top cover, tonneau and full covers, as well as a picture booklet showing the restoration process. Big Healeys are addictive. The low moan of a straight six and spirited motoring just inches off the ground give a rush to drivers of all ages. This is an outstanding Healey for local shows and concours as well as driving and enjoying. Contact us at or 714-294-0382
