Happy 50th Birthday AMC Gremlin!!!! For sale is our Very Rare 1970 first year issue AMC Gremlin. This is a Very special find as it was blessed with a mostly movie set life in sunny CA seen in several commercials as well as the 2001 film "Blow" starring Johnny Depp. (a small part lol). I believe the miles to be correct and extremely low though hard to know for sure. At some point in this cars film career someone gave it a full makeover with new paint, EXTREMELY rare Levi Complete interior upgrade, new carpet, and full original upgrades along with a period aftermarket AC system. The LEVI setup from to back is an incredible look and stops everyone in their tracks at the car shows. I bought this car approximately 15 years ago as a father son project for car shows. I will say we won EVERY show we went to which was rather funny with the amazing cars displayed but how many times do you really see an AMC let alone a 1970 Gremlin!! The car is a pleasure to drive granted we only used it for local shows 10-15 minutes away so won't say how it would do on a road trip. The car typically only comes out of its car cover 4-5 times per year for a few miles.
After sitting for 2 years now I completely upgraded the battery, cables, coil, cap, rotor, wires, air cleaner, oil, window seals, flushed gas tank, new fuel filter, and other misc details to make sure its fresh. Please know this car has its minor dings, scratches, little noises etc common with a 50 Year old car. I am not representing this as new or restored simply an Extremely rare and very clean example of AMC history. Sold As-Is. While we have had no issues (other then oddly the gas gauge stopped moving??) with this beautiful car it is Old.... I see no rust or obvious issues and I am Certain this car with continued love will live on for Many many years to come. I have provided as many pictures and angles as possible but if you have questions please feel free. Please no goofy offers. I have no rush to sell and I will not give it away. If you want a Truly unique and Rare car for shows or to turn heads this is It! Paint looks great and tires have very few miles on them.
