Nice solid car - has been in Az many yrs..
Nice body, little to no rot, nice stainless too.
It was parked and not used much since the 90s
Mileage shows about 125k
FROM this car, came the later model Rebel, which
are also very rare these days.

Or leave the I6 motor and enjoy it as is, the
motor is fine, not yet done any road test.
It will need some brakework, water pump, new
rad hoses, alternator belt, cleaned fuel tank first
before its ready for the road. Some of the work
has been started already. More INFO below

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
These wagons values (like most wagons) are on the rise and
becoming more popular then ever. This wagons been sitting about 20 yrs here in the Az climate,
hence the baked white re-paint from 25+ yrs ago.
Radiator is missing. No idea condition of the factory V8 engine, dont think it turns
over by hand. So expect a swap or rebuild in its future.
No signs of ANY major rust or rot on the body and Ive seen no signs of previous
damage or bondo. If its there, I cant see any evidence.Chrome in nice shape.
As is all the glass too. Interior has alot of sun and heat damage.

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title

So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.

DRIVETRAIN: factory Inline 6 w/ lots of room for a modern
V8 swap too. I poured gas down the carb, and after 3 or 4 times
it fired and ran with no weird noises. When it was parked about
10 yrs ago it was running and driving fine. I installed some new
plug wires and a new cap. Trans and rearend should be fine. To
make it a driver, it would prob be good to clean out the tank and
will need a new fuel pump. The one on the car was leaking.
Water pump was locked up, so I pulled it off and was getting ready
to install a new one. So at the moment the radiator, fan and old
water pump are removed and carefully now in the trunk for now.
I looked into it, and rebuilt pumps are on Ebay for less then a bill.
Also, looks like this engine uses a 61-64 version water pump for
some reason. Maybe its a very early 65 model car ?
Time for a modern EFI swap ?

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, Az heat has taken its toll on
alot of it, but in some areas its not bad. All the glass is good, and
still has the factory radio. Seats look fair, and are dry and hard.
It does have the front buckets option at least. Interior floors are in
great shape in car. I think it would clean up nice with a few repairs
inside and be okay for a driver. Redo the seats and it would make a
huge improvment, thats for sure. Interior of the trunk very nice but
because of the lovely rubber trunkmat, it did aquire some rust in
the trunk, mostl on the left side lower area. Plenty of pics below.
Dash cluster has a few bulbs out.

EXTERIOR:the body is straight for its age, with minimal dents
from front to rear. Nice body for being 50+ yrs old. Chrome and
stainless not in bad shape either. Body has a few dents and looks
like the LR had some minor work-repair way back in the day. The
rockers are in great shape. It does have 1 non working headlight.
Even as is, this car gets ALOT of attention sitting in our yard.
ALSO there are 2 holes in the hood from the previous owner, they
thought it would be a good idea to mount the Antenna there and
also a hood lock. (see pics) some are before and some are after I
took the units off. Now they are "cooling vent" holes :) They
are aprox 1.5" diameter each.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can
make out, basically the way it came out of the factory except
some stuff replaced over the yrs from normal wear n tear.
With the lack of alot of east coast rot, making it easy to come apart.
Drum brakes front and rear. Has a set of just okay roller 14"
tires on the stock steel wheels. I did install a new master cylinder
but couldnt get the lines bleed. Also needs a new RF wheel cylinder
installed ( a new one comes with the car) So for now, no brakes
unless I can get the lines bled, then Ill install the new wheel cylinder
too. The front springs both have a small old school bolt in spacers in
each, butpersonally Id just take them out to give the car a nice mild rake.
For now I left them in.
Minimal rust under the car -Certainly nothing like an East coast car
this old. FOR a 55+ yr old car, its amazingly rot free.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.

Probably The BEST represented AMCs on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Many of these cars went to the crusher 20 yrs ago
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
