This 1972 AMC Gremlin is finished in green over black vinyl and equipped with the X trim package. The car was acquired by its current owner approximately five years ago. It was featured on Jay Leno's Garage. Power comes from a 4.2-liter inline-six linked to a 3-speed automatic transmission. This Gremlin is registered on California historical vehicle license plates and offered by the seller on the current owner's behalf with a clean California title.
The X trim package included specific decals, tape stripes, a blackout grille insert, and bucket seats. This example is finished in green with a gray front nose panel.

There are several dents along the passenger side as well as an area of rust on the A-pillar as shown in detail in the gallery.
Factory 14" slotted wheels wear polished beauty rings and are wrapped in Firestone Wide Oval tires. Drum brakes are installed at all four corners, and the car is not equipped with power steering.
High-back bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl with matching carpets. Interior components include a 3-spoke steering wheel and period AM radio, though the car is not equipped with air conditioning. Just over 13k miles are shown on the 5-digit odometer.
The 4.2L inline-six is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission and was rated at 110 horsepower when new.
