Description:

1969 AMC AMX

This auction is for a 1969 AMX project. The car was originally dark green with a tan leather interior and a 390 4-speed and power steering. I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR THE CAR. The last 3 owners have not had titles either. It was last registered in 1978 in Texas so it has been off the road for quite a while. It steers and rolls great. It has all 4 original Rally wheels and dry rotted white letter tires. I have no engine or transmission or radiator for the car. I have a driveshaft, factory exhaust manifolds, Bell housing, flex plate and z bar. The black buckets in the car are not original but they fit nicely. No body panels were ever replaced on the car. All have the original factory green paint under the orange. The trunk is still painted. It has about a 2x2 inch hole in the floor. Floors are good the last time I was under it. Just a good restoration projec, parts or drag or hot rod.

There are dents on the front right fender and right door. Also on the right panel between the roof and body. I tried to show these in the pictures along with any rust that I know of. Note this is not rusted out around the front or rear windows like the Camaros and mid size GM cars do. I showed a picture of that too. There is a pair of original buckets on Ebay now (also a hood not as nice as mine for over $900.00).
