Thanks for taking a look at our 1971 Alfa Romeo GT Veloce Junior 1300 hotrod.

The Alfa Romeo GTV. The world famous canyon carver with that glorious exhaust note. It’s the car you need to try to beat at the short, ast tracks. And she’s going to turn heads whether you're going uptown on a Friday night or down the backside of the corkscrew at Laguna Seca on Saturday morning. A crowd is all but guaranteed at your local car show or cruise night.

We acquired this Alfa GTV here in California via ebay in the summer of 2014. It had a clean California title, ad not been in an accident and had a well preserved interior. The car was in a body shop and the owner eventually decided the restoration cost was beyond his means. The engine turned freely but was not running. The brakes were locked up. The body had light rust in the quarters and fenders but was otherwise in very nice restorable condition.

We began with the metal work. All of the rust was removed and panels were fitted as required. We shaved and filled for that hot rod look. No bumpers, o visible radio antenna and minimal chrome and stainless trim. The car was stripped, lass out, nd prepared for paint. We chose Diamond White Pearl Metallic for maximum visual impact. This 3 stage paint process took an entire day just to spray.

After a month of curing, e color sanded and polished the paint until it revealed that amazing sizzle of pearlescence and metallic sparkle.

The interior was mildly reconditioned and kept as spartan as originally designed. We’re betting a lot of Alfisti will rip out any interior accoutrements in favor of a roll bar and race seats anyway.

Twin Weber DCOE 40 carburetors were rebuilt and the electrical was sorted. The entire braking system was replaced including booster, aster and slave cylinders, alipers and lines, ads and fluids. All quality parts were sourced from name brand Alfa suppliers like Centerline and Jon Norman.

The drivetrain appeared to have been recently rebuilt and she sprang to life with ease. She’s tight and fast with an awesome sound from the Magna Flow pipe.

DMV

The title is clear and all documentation is included. No back fees are due. No smog is required for California residents.

Exterior.

Fresh Diamond White Pearl Metallic that has been color sanded and buffed to a high sheen looks amazing and can be a bit blinding in the sun. Good panel fit. Good chrome and trim. Fresh vinyl graphics. Shaved antenna and emblems. See pictures. Zero rust, ero nicks, ero scratches

Wheels, ires

New 15” Rota alloy wheels with fat new Ventus TD tires.

Engine

1300 cc Dual overhead cam Alfa Romeo magic. Runs awesome. Burnouts (even with those sticky td’s) are easy. Fresh tune, ll belts, oses, luids. Dual DCOE 40 Weber carbs with tuned velocity stacks and filters. Radiator rebuild. New waterpump, tc.

Transmission

Smooth shifting 5 speed transmission. New clutch master and slave cylinders.

Braking

4 wheel disc brake system is new from booster to calipers, ncluding lines.

Black seat upholstery in good condition. Unique "His and Hers" seating configuration. Original floormat. Radio upgrade to Bluetooth handsfree with USB. Hidden antenna (fender filled). All gauges working excellent. New dashcap.

Odometer

The odometer shows 000400 miles and operates properly. We believe that the odometer is beyond it’s capacity to measure.

Documentation

A complete build book with pictures, eceipts and documentation is included.

According to our documentation files, he chassis number AR 1265208 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior (105.30), anufactured on the 20th March 1971 and sold on the 25th March 1971 in Naples, taly.
