1974 Alfa Romeo GTV

74 GTV in rare steel blue with body restoration complete. Rust free, super paint job, thousands spent but no time to finish. 62,000 miles on odometer and I believe but can't prove the mileage to be accurate. Laid up with marvel mystery oil in cylinders but has not run in years. Lots of parts including bubble wrapped windshield and rear glass, front and rear bumpers, body trim and hardware, most if not all interior pieces, new headliner and wood inlays, etc. The only item I know for certain is missing is the gas tank. Sort the mechanicals (engine fitted with fuel injection not Webers), do a new interior (door cards in good shape, but will want recovering as will seats), fit new gas tank, tires and 1 wheel (three nice Alfa mags on car, but need one more to match) and when finished enjoy a highly collectable example that's a blast to drive (I know because I've had two and having had much experience with "driver's" cars, the GTV always stands out as one of my favorites). If you're reading this you know what fully restored examples are bringing. I don't expect to recoup all that's been invested, but I'm not giving her away either. Starting bid is a fraction of what's been invested. If you've the time and energy to bring the car back to what it can be you will be richly rewarded and not just with the driving experience.
