1990 Alfa Romeo Spider GraduateHello potential Alfa buyers.
You may recognize this car as it is being re-posted... Unfortunately, when it was almost done last time, E bay erroneously took the auction down, with the bogus computer-generated reason being stated that it was incorrectly listed in "parts and other", which was obviously incorrect, as over 800 folks, like you, were reported to have viewed it and over 50 were watching it to, (hopefully) bid the price up on the last day...
E bay will not reinstate the old, correctly listed, as they finally admitted, (after a very long and frustrating phone mostly "on-hold" phone call...) In any event, here it is again...
This is a good fun car which as you can see by the ownership record, was a Washington DC and Arizona car for most of it's life and hence it remains almost completely free of the north-east lower body ravages often found on these cars. With Bosch injection and variable cam timing, it is completely reliable and gets very good mileage. (It delivered over 30 mpg on one trip which was documented back when the speedometer was reliable). All the other gages still work, however, the speedo and odometer, are unreliable and inaccurate there days, therefore please note:, The mileage is represented to not be accurate.
This car could use a new ball joint on the right side. Two new ones (an upper and a lower), are included, along with new sway bar drop lines and three ty-rod ends, which it may or not need. I have not had the time to get around to installing these. Oh, there is also included a cool used end section of a Monza style exhaust, which I was also going to install...
This car has the 5 star "Daytona" style mags, which have always been my favorite for these cars. The AC does not work and there is no radio, neither have been missed, however...
So, here we go again, an honest car, with no reserve and a starting price which I believe is far below any comparable car which I have seen listed here on E bay for a long time.
Oh, I also just remembered, as you can see, I painted some old cloudy head light covers and put them on for a "daytime, sort of Lotus Elan look", since I can't afford to drive an actual Elan...
Come and get it!
