I love the Alfetta GTV cars, as a matter of fact this is my sixth car. I like restoring them to the original factory condition as much as I can. This is one of the earliest cars adopting the concept of weightdistributionratio of 50/50 which allows it extreme stability taking curves on high speed mimicking the performance of Super Cars, thanks to the integration of the gearbox into the rear axle forming what is known as the "Transaxle".
Here are the specs of the car:
|Arrangement||V6 in 60 degrees|
|Head/block Material||Aluminum alloy|
|Bore||88.0 mm (3.46 in)|
|Stroke||68.3 mm (2.69 in)|
|Capacity||2492 ccm (152.3 cu in)|
|Compression ratio||9.0 : 1|
|Power||160 bhp (DIN) at 5600 rpm|
|Torque||157 lb ft at 4000 rpm|
|Acceleration||8.8 s (0-60 mph)|
|Standing km||30.6 s, 107 mph|
|Standing quarter mile||16.7 s, 84mph|
1.The engineof this car is very solid and properly tuned, it starts from the first time.
2. New Spark plugs, distributor and spark plug wires.
3. K & N Performance Air Filter
4. Gas tank drained and cleaned.
5. New fuel pump and fuel lines.
6. New brake lines.
7. Three New Goodyear Tires 195/60/15.
8. Original leather Tan seats (Needs work).
9. Alfa Romeo Wheel Valve Covers.
10. New Battery.
11. New trunk hydraulic lift arm.
Everything in this car works great with the exception of the power mirrors and tachometer.
The car has some rust patches mainly on the left side and at the back. I treated them with Rust Reformer to stop them from expanding. Car has the original factory paint which has some dull places. If you don not want to invest in a body repair/Paint job a good polishing will revive the car and makes it shine again.
The car is missing the sidemoldings. It was also missing the front spoiler but I bought it, I will give it away with the car.
No damage history. No accidents. A clean car.
