Buick fought back with update styling and retiring the 4 cylinder and bringing in the inline 6 cylinder in 1926 for both the master and standard models. Many improvements were part of the 1927 model including balanced crankshaft. They were hailed as "Vibration-less Beyond Belief". Buyers responded with sales exceeding 250,000 units.
