This car is in Fantastic Condition for its age. Just removed from a 40 year collection. Car was owned by previous owner since 1972. Has always been stored indoors.
BACK STORY on the CAR:
Previous Owner purchased the car in the Early 70's . Car was customized fully in a 50's style fashion using lead and all the tricks of the 50's. Once car was complete it was driven to a few shows and then stored in owners collection of 40+ cars never to see the road again other than a mile or 2 each year to keep in good running order. Car was maintained yearly by changingfluidsand starting it by owners handy man helper. Owners health was bad for so many years that he never got to enjoy it other than admiring it in his collection.
Now For the first time, t is offered for sale to someone who will hopefully bring it up to cruising speed/condition and REALLY enjoy and show it OFF!! Interior:
Has custom upholstery bucket seats using a 2 tone velour typefabricon seats, eadliner, nd door panels. All are in very good condition with no issues. Dash, auges, teering wheel etc. are all original. Car has added under carriageflorescentlights and blue lights in grille andunder-hood. Door handles were shaved and poppers were installed. Doors can be opened from key chainkey fobor by secret switches just under 59 caddy tail lights on drivers side. Trunk popper switch is also hidden there. (Very Cool!)
Exterior/Paint:
The paint on the car is in good shape. It was done in a two toneburgundy/silver metallic with heavy flake. LOOK Closely @ the photos. I have wet sanded front fenders on the car and half the hood & polished them to a mirror finish so it looks like the paint can really be brought back to life in a Great way IF NEW BUYER chooses to stay with this paint job?? Plenty of clear coat on it to work with. The rear fenders have been color/wet sanded to a super smooth finish. They still need polishing so in photos they might appear dull in those area. There are a few chips here and there from being stored all these years but like I said, ith a little effort, his paint can really POP! (See Photos)
Car looks good underneath. Appears to be 99% rust free with just some minor surface rust. (See Photos)
Chrome on Front and Rear Bumpers is in Very good shape. Great shine and NO pitting. Like Brand New.All Stainless trim on car is in nice shape. (Some clips have popped off here and there)
Engine:
Original V8 Flat head Engine topped with a Weilandmanifoldand 3 Ford (Stromberg Style) Carbs. This is backed up by the 3 speed (3 on tree) Manual trans.Engine is dressed up with chrome etc. parts.
Car also has Vintage Air Conditioning System for your comfort (I am sure this will need serviced/charged with Freon)

Note: We serviced the car as stated above and it started right up. Drove it down the road a few miles to test. Sounded Great but The carbs seemed to need adjusted to run smoothly and I am not versed in that. I attempted to adjust the carbs and now cannot get car to start. Seems to be flooding out, o I will have to leave that up to buyer but I do know the engine runs strong as I did drive it a few miles before messing with carb jetting.
NOTE: Although we serviced some items on the car, t WILL NEED to be looked at by yourself or local mechanic before being driveable. This car has been in Hibernation for a very long time without seeing the light of day. Since we drove car a few miles, know the motor runs strong and sounds great but the carbs need tweaked! Trans shifted easily into all gears as well!
Tires are bias ply original style tires that more than likely need replaced due to age.
SO....if you want to be noticed and have one of the rarest and coolest rides in town, his is it!!!
