1970 Porsche 911 T

About this vehicleThis 1970 matching number Porsche 911T is a restored vehicle with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner(same family owned from new) and imported it from Ontario Canada 6 years ago. It had just gone through a 4 plus years ground up nuts and bolts restoration 7 months ago.
Body: The body was media blasted to bare metal, all rust repaired in steel, a $17K (paint job alone) applied in OEM medium grey. It's the same color as the car seen in the beginning of the movie "LeMens". The original color is red certified by Porsche. The under coating is in the correct OEM grey instead of black as commonly mistaken in restoration.
Engine: This 2.2 flat 6 is rebuilt by Mirage International of San Diego CA. Mirage is the original engine builder for the early production famed "Singer" cars. This engine is built to 911S spec, blue printed and balanced with polished heads. Weber carburators, S cams, higher compression pistons, etc. $26K on engine.
Transmission: Rebuilt original 901 5 speed gearbox.
Chassis and Suspension: All suspension components are rebuilt or new, powder coated to factory spec, all new bushings and bearings, front and rear sway bars, new hydraulic and plumbing lines, new master cylinders, new brakes, re-wired electrical, fuse, etc. New Konis, 5 new Fuch style wheels and Pirelli tires. (4 Original used fuch wheels available for $1000). Original Jack and owners manual, new tool kit, battery, gas tank and seals. New trunk carpeting. All hardwares are new or correctly plated in Cadium or zinc plated. All engine compartment tins are powder coated and appears as original.
Interior: Original seats are re-trimmed in OEM German leather, matching back seats, even the seat railing is cleaned and refurbished. New door panels, new door pockets, door pulls,, window cranks, knobs, etc. OEM German carpeting throughout, new parcel shelf panel, re-trimmed rear interior panels, new headliner n bows n clips. New dash top, all gauges rebuilt, Re-furbished original German radio, re-webbed original seat belts. All interior/exterior chrome trims new or re-chromed. All aluminum door window frames re-anodized as original. New H4 headlights, new plastic lens front and rear. New horn, re-covered original steering wheel, new wipers, all new rubber trims and seals, misc. items too much to list.
Conclusion: I have driven only 300 miles on this car after the restoration. It needs to be driven to 500 miles for break-in, then a oil change, valve adjustment and final tune. The underside of this car looks as good as the exterior, the attention to details is exceptional, it drives as tight as it should. The engine performs like a fast 911S. Yet, it is understated and subdue. It is truly a car for purists. I have most receipts for the restoration of this car (approximately 100K). I am an elderly enthusiast, this car is too perfect for me to care for. I am also thinning out my cars, I have race cars and another Porsche for sale, if interested, please inquire. Thank you for looking.
