This beautiful black Speedster Replica just arrived! Built on a solid custom frame and pan it is titled as 1972. This is a very high quality build. It's the cool C model which is short for the California racing version with the cool flared fenders with color keyed front bumper with diminutive twin grills. The body is done in gorgeous Tuxedo Black in overall excellent condition with only a very few very small rock chips that would be expected but overall this car looks fantastic. Overall fit and finish is probably as good if not better then the real deal but obviously at about 1/10th the price of a real one. The doors shut like a newer car. This one has a cool pair of leather straps on the front trunk area giving it that vintage race look. All of the trim is in excellent condition as well. This one will draw a crowd wherever you go! The black leather interior shows very nicely with only very minor wear. There is a black full length tonneau. Stylish and functioning Vintage gauges gauges adorn the simplistic dash. Speedometer and odometer read in Kilometers for the true Euro feel. Mileage is currently at slightly under 4500 kilometers or 2750 miles. Very nice woodgrain leather wrapped wheel with genuine horn button emblem. Cassette stereo under dash with speakers mounted in footwells. This Speedster does have heat. Nice set of carpeted mats finish out the interior. This one is built with a 1600 cc dual Dellorto carbs and a 4 speed transaxle. If you might have ever driven an original 356 you would notice the power increase is substantial and makes this is a very fun car to drive. Suspension is coil overs front and rear with rack and pinion steering. Front and rear disc brakes stop this Speedster with ease. It cruises around on 165/80R15 tires on chrome wheels and the boot has full size spare. This Speedster is turn key ready to drive and enjoy. Or take it to your local shows and cruise-ins if you can handle the attention!
