There are other nice pieces, like the armrest center console and provisions for R134a air conditioning (likely just needs a recharge to blow cold again.) But this isn't just a coddler; there's plenty to give you the tingle of performance. Your left hand will love the grip of the Lecarra steering wheel, and your right one may never want to leave the B&M T-bar shifter. Chevy could have offered the big 454 cubic-inch V8 back in the 1970s, and how nicely this one fits in the engine bay proves it. Those bright 454 valve covers even proudly announce it. While there's no replacement for added displacement, this special build goes further. It has performance upgrades like aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers that let this exhale with a sweet rumble out of the H-pipe dual exhaust. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is the right mix that gives you a stout construction and better gears to utilize the power-band (and the overdrive is handy, too.) As you look underneath, you're going to see nice upgrades like a thick front sway bar, subframe connectors, and rear traction bars.
