Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this 1991 ZR-1 Corvette finished in Bright Red over a red interior. Based on the last digits of the VIN number, this car was number 890 of only 2,044 produced total, and according to our research was one of 685 produced in Bright Red for model year 1991. According to the window sticker, the price tag for this car was $65,583.00, which was a lot of money in '91, but as a buyer you definitely got a lot of car for the money.
This car was ordered in Bright Red over a Red Leather interior. It comes with the original documentation and ZR-1 memorabilia, including the service manual, owners manual, ZR-1 box, (framed) window sticker, and build sheet. The car is outfitted with all the standard Corvette equipment but then add the upgraded ZR-1 Performance Package for $27k. This package included a 375hp 5.7L V8, staggered ZR-1 specific tires with aluminum wheels, ZR-1 rear fascia and stop lamps, performance handling package, ZR-1 side body panels, selective ride and handling package, 6-way power seats, solar glass, and a Delco/Bose Gold Series stereo system. C4's were so dominant in the SCCA race circuit that they were eventually kicked out of the Stock GT class and forced to create their own series, known as the Corvette Challenge. If you've ever driven one, with the power switch on full, you know. For those that haven't, it's an amazing experience, especially pushing 375hp through the 6-speed gearbox.
This car has been looked after and has a number of recent upgrades. New injectors, coils, plug wires, alternator, battery, clutch, and all fluids changed are the notable maintenance items recently taken care of. The upgrades include Borla exhaust, K&N air filter, and a 1993 exhaust resonator. Additional sound deadening has been added which quiets road noise and provides relief from heat soak. This car is in great condition inside and out, plus comes with original documentation and extras. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors.
