Iconic Masterpiece, Tuxedo Black 1959 Corvette roadster with original 283 ci V8 engine under the hood, topped off with with dual quads and a 4-speed transmission to put the rubber to the road. Very nice chrome bumpers, grill and side trim. white coves and wide whites and spinner caps for that nostalgic look. Very nice black interior with newer seat covers and lots of new parts and great dash with clear crisp instrumentation. Under the hood of the piece of art on four wheels is a very rare and desirable 283 cubic inch CU block, with 496C options rated at 270 horsepower, with dual four barrel carburetors, high lift cam and correctly paired with a Borg Warner 4 speed transmission. This information is all validated by the stamp on the front of the block FI230CU. There is no vin block stamping correlating to the vin number on this car or on most early C1 corvettes. Very nice black paint and chrome jewel this black beauty. It is a very correct car retains its or original C1 imperfect hand built fiberglass body. These early C1s are gorgeous, but not quite as smooth and sleek as todays C8 Corvettes.
