1964 Chevrolet Chevelle 300

The 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 gives the first impression of an ultra-clean and very vintage car. But there's something extra special about it. As you dig just a little deeper, you'll find features like an impressive small block V8, four-on-the-floor, and an A/C interior. So what you're really looking at is a slick sleeper that even has the right comfort mixed in.

The finish on this almost appears black in some lights, but the bright noon sun will reveal the full depth of the Midnight Navy Blue paint. And that's exactly how you should view this Chevy: it has a nice first impression, but there's even more going on under the surface. You can tell they made a solid investment here by the level of gloss in the finish. There's plenty of extra shine in the bumpers and trim. And there's an overall feeling of quality in the fundamentals with clean glass, bright lights, and doors that close with confidence. Plus, that full-length strip not only demonstrates the Chevelle's style, but also it proves how straight the body panels are. These came with the flared rear quarter panels as a defining factory feature. And that has been utilized here by the extra meaty rear tires on the polished American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.

The interior was upgraded to black later in life, but it still retains a cool stock look. Everything from the door panels to the trunk has the clean look and vintage quality. But more than just a classic style, you can see they thoughtfully integrated the right upgrades. This includes an upgraded retro-style stereo and there's air condition blowing cold with modern R134a. This is also a driver-oriented setup. That means bucket seats up front, and the classic-style Chevy sports steering wheel is actually updated with a smaller diameter with fatter grip. There are cleanly installed auxiliary readouts, and the tach in the center of the instruments goes particularly well with the floor shifter.

The engine bay is ready to show off. Everything from the bright etched valve covers to the good belts show this has the tidy look of true performance. And while the callout on the air topped says 327, that's only because that's where the small-block topped out at in this generation. This one is actually powered by a larger 350 cubic-inch V8. It's been built for power with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, and an aluminum radiator with electric to help keep it all running cool. This V8 loves to fire up and make a sweet tune out of the dual exhaust. And the four-speed manual transmission puts you firmly in the center of all the action. Plus, there's power steering and dual-circuit power brakes with a front disc upgrade. So you have full control to make this a street-eating Chevelle of just an easy cruiser.

This is the kind of a machine you'll leave the showroom and feel like you could drive forever. It's such a solid and well-done package that the only way it will disappoint is if you miss this deal. Call today!!!
