1941 Packard Clipper --

Offered For Sale by The California Automobile Museum 1941 Packard Clipper, Model 1951 Sedan We Offer Financing The car is beautiful, but the story behind it, even more! Purchased new in 1941 by the owner's father, she rode in it often as a little girl. They lived in Denver and came out to California in 1976. She has kept it in the family for 78 years. But now, it's time for another family to enjoy the Packard. This car was restored in 1999 with... new paint, chrome plating, upholstery, weatherstripping, moulding and wiring. No mechanical work was needed. The two tone paint is beautiful. The paint has bubbles on the rear from sun exposure as the car was too long for the carport. There are no dings, dents or rust. Wide white wall tires add style and class. Glass is in excellent condition. The interior was reupholstered with LeBarron Bonney upholstery. The woodgraining is excellent. Sitting behind the wheel or in the rear, you understand why Packard stood for luxury and class. 282 Inline 8 cylinder motor runs strong. The car has been recently freshened up with a new fuel pump, fuel tank, sending unit, rebuilt carburetor and battery. As a Packard Club member and Touring Car since 1976, the family has enjoyed many Packard outings. Hopefully, with the car entrusted to you as the new owner, you will continue to do the same!
