Description:

1976 Chevrolet Chevette Chrome/Black

Very rare, all original, 1976 Chevy Chevette Coupe (2 door) with 1.6 liter, 4 cylinder, and automatic transmission in great running condition. The car has just over 65k original miles, a clean title, new tires, newer battery, and has never been smoked in or wrecked. It has had two owners; the last owner owning the car for the last 5 years and driving it to work daily. The car body is straight and doesn't have any damage outside, but the paint is all original so there are some chips on the hood, and some rain spots on the hood/top, but overall the paint is still is bright and looks great for its age; there may be other minor damage, but I didn't notice it. The engine is strong, was just tuned up, starts easily, and runs great like it should. The interior is very good and looks like it should for a car with this low of mileage, but the dashboard is cracked and there is a tear on the drivers seat and a few other minor things like a heater retaining clip, all of which can easily be fixed. The owner of the car was meticulous and kept many of the original documents, including the original owners manuals, brochures, and lots of spare keys. First American car to claim over 20 mpg.
