1981 Mercedes-Benz 240D Diesel 2.4L 4cyl Diesel Engine 4 Speed Automatic Transmission 290,000 Miles Car runs and drives. Brakes are good. Engine has just had motor mounts replaced and all filters/fluid changed. Overall car is in good shape. If you know anything about these cars you know they run forever and are built like tanks. The Diesel engine just keeps running and running and just sips fuel.
With all that being said, it is still a 37 year old car. There are quirks here are there, nothing major of course, but to be expected of a car like this. There is patches of rust like on the bottom of the doors that can be seen in the pictures, again, they nearly all do. This is a solid running car, with a solid drivetrain, needing a home and a little love.
