Thank you for looking at our 1969 Mustang. This car has a souped up 302 engine. All the specs for the engine and the build are on the Flickr. This car has automatic, power steering and brakes and a convertible top. It starts easily, drives nicely and its in really good condition. The owner of this car passed away around 10 years ago and the car just sat in the garage until I purchased it. The engine on this car runs so well and is so powerful its unbelievable. It's actually a thrill to drive this car. The 3 speed automatic transmission operates 100% correctly. The interior of the car we believe to be in excellent condition for a car of this year. The convertible top is fine and the power for the convertible top runs 100%. The body of the car is really nice and was painted probably 20 years ago.
The passenger driver's door on the bottom has a little bubble/rust spot, probably not seen in the pictures. We think this car really looks great for its age and we took a lot of pictures so you could see how great this car really is. The trunk is in perfect condition, as seen in the pictures. The motor compartment is as clean as they get. The frame of this car is in excellent shape and it was told to me by my mechanic that did all the work on this car, including new battery, tuneup, cleaning the fuel tank and fuel lines, totally safety inspected, and this car is ready to be enjoyed by the new owner who wins this auction. It also has different wheels put on the car from the original, and it looks really good.
All four tires are fine and everything mechanically on this car has either been updated or replaced. There's a photo in the Flickr which shows thousands of dollars worth of receipts that come with the car. When the new owner sits down and reads all the receipts, he'll know exactly how much work was done on this car. It also comes with the parade boot, which is in the trunk. I don't always think its a great idea to drive one of these old cars on a long trip, but this car has so many new parts and runs so well, I personally would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere with the top down on a sunny day, there's nothing better. He also put in a newer sound system, which really isn't so new anymore, but it works fine.Again I stress, please check out the 24 pictures and all the pictures below in the Flickr so you can familiarize yourself with this vehicle if you're not able to physically come down to the lot and inspect and drive it.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
