1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

I am the second owner of this lovely burgundy/bordeaux 300D. Not in show condition, but in great shape and ready to go as a daily driver. Lots of power in the engine, good pick-up (for this car), performs well in the city and on the highway. A pleasure to see and drive. I don't need a car in the city and would love to see this go to an owner who will drive, tinker and care for it in the best possible way. Titled in Massachusetts. I am selling locally and will take down the auction if I find a local buyer.
RECENT UPGRADES/WORK

• New primer fuel pump, hose, and fuel filters (2017)

GOOD NEWS - issues typical to 300D's that this car does NOT have

• A/C was converted in 2015, blows cold (note that these systems never run as cold as modern systems)
• Sunroof works
• No water leaks
• Good acceleration
• No rust on floors, behind battery, under hood in drain wells, or inside door - the typ. places
• Never in an accident - check CarFax (I'm happy to share copy from 2015, when I purchased the car)
• 2016 Pioneer radio with USB port (original radio not included)
• Includes spare tire

KNOWN ISSUES

• A little rust around front and rear below-bumper panels. See photos. I will throw in an unopened can of "Miracle Paint" - see MercedesSource.com. (Otherwise very much rust-free!)
• No first aid kit
• Automatic locks (besides drivers side) only work after car has been driven for 15-20 min. I can include a hand vacuum pump and MercedesSource.com DIY instructors for chasing door lock vacuum leaks.
• Nets on back of drivers and front passengers seat are unattached
• Glove compartment hinge is loose. Easy fix.
• Car rolls a bit before engaging park. I just use parking brake on any sort of an incline.
• Only one original floor mat (drivers side passenger), though there are new off-the-shelf mats (2017)
• Antennae is bent and does not always go up; radio picks up most signals just fine.
