Here is a very rare British sports car with some very uniquefeatures. It is very original. It receivedsome minor touch upsback in July 1991 so the paint is mostly original. The interior is in amazing shape and is mostlyoriginalexceptfor the carpet. The seats had sheepskin covers on them so when removed they look great. Thepaint polished up nicely but does have flaws here and there and is not show quality. There is some cracking and pealing thatyou cannot see in the photos. In fact you have to look for it to see it. Both hard and soft tops are in great shape. The AC does not blow cold but all components are there. The power windows work perfectly. All of the gauges work including the in-dash tachometer. The radio and clock do not operate. The motor runs very well and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. This is a great running Stag that is fun to drive and handles well. They have a reputation for overheating but by the 1973 model had gotten much better. When I did the photo shoot it was 98 degrees with a heat index of 109. It did not over heat even when left idling. For a 2800 pound car it rides very well on it's 100 inch wheels base and good radial tires. The motor, interior, and trunk compartments are near show quality and look terrific with the exception of the arm rest and dash pad. The arm rest have some cuts on them and need to be recovered. There is a crack on the top of the dash pad just above the glove box. The real wood dash trim looks very good. The seats are comfortable with a woven vinyl fabric. It has a tilt/telescopic steering wheel and column for added comfort. The hardtop takes two people but is super easy to install. This collectible Stag comes with some receipts and anassemblymanual in i'ts original binder. This is such an an unusual and cool car. It is a blast to drive and has a terrific V8 rumble like now other car. If you want something truly affordable and totally different you should consider this neat Triumph. It is a real head turner and a great conversation piece. We can help with financing, insurance, and delivery.
