1978 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500

This truck has been adult owned all its life and well taken care of. I have put a very low reserve price on this truck considering the condition of the vehicle.Don't let the low Buy It Now price fool you...this is a very nice short box Chevy. I purchased this truck about10 months ago and have put about 3000 easy miles on it. Beautiful detail job hasjust completed. Previous owner (he owned this truck for 30 years and was VERY attached to this truck) treated this truck with kid gloves. He had plans to pull a trailer (never did) and had the engine (350ci) pulled at about 100,000 miles and professionally rebuilt at the 4x4 Shop in Caldwell, d (4x4shopidaho.com). During the rebuild they installed a mildRV cam. They also had the transmission rebuilt with a shift kit added. Approximately 30,000 miles on both. The truckhas trailer brakes, idden hitch (behind the license plate), ew headers and dual flowmaster exhaust (nice rumble), ldebrock manifold (comes with the stock manifold), ew master cylinder, ower steering pump, attery, ear axels & bearings, lternator, uadrajet carburetor, eater core, eater fan, ual tanks, rivelines and u-joints, hocks, ruck has been undercoated, pray in bed liner with thick rubber mat, ew brakes, ebuilt front end, onverted from full time 4x4 to locking Warn hubs, olor matched canopy and wheels, atching spare, ew carpet, ice dash, ll glass is good.Truck starts, ounds andruns great andtravels down the freeway at 65mph with no problem. 4x4 works as it should. Steering is tight and truck stops straight when braking. The truck comes with extras...It has an extrafull set of 4 matching BF Goodrich All Terrain TA tires (the same tires that are on the truck already) mounted on professionally color matched mag wheels (I included a picture ofone of them)...the tires have about 50 % tread(just a guess, ould be more). The last owner was kind of ocd about his truck...he would change the brakes of the truck when there was still way more than 50% left; same with filters and just about everything that was replaceable. I have spare starters, lternators, iper motors/blades, eat belt sets, ug visor for the hood(never installed), ubs, rakes, ilters, ightbulbs, eadlights and more...boxes of stuff,,,a lot is new, ome is "lightly" used... it all goes with the truck. We are retiring to the Oregon coast soon, here I hope to never have to deal with snow again, and have no need of a truck of this caliber. As to what is wrong with the truck I will tell you all I know...the headliner is all there and in good condition but is sagging a bit...the rear bumper has a slight tweak in it (if you look close in the pictures you can see it)...there is a small spot of surface rust behind each rear wheel (the pictures of the spots were taken before the truck was detailed, ence the difference in picture quality. I have not taken the seat cover off since he installed it so well, o I can not describe the condition of the seat.I live about 30 miles west of Boise, d.in the town of Marsing. Upon receipt of full payment for the truck I would be willing to deliver the vehicle to the shipper/agent of your choice(within 30 miles). I would also be willing to deliver the truck to the Boise airport and complete the transactionat a local bankshould you decide to fly in and drive the truck home. Upon completion of the auction I would expect a nonrefundablecashiers check/post office money order for 10% of the purchase price within 7 days and completion of the purchase within two weeks. My name is Rick and I have tried to show and describe the truck to the best of my abilities. If you need any further pictures or descriptions please don't hesitate to call...208-866-1121
